Yep so I completely wasted my morning today and got dressed and out the door in 30 minutes (so clearly nothing fancy today). I had intentions on wearing a dress but once I realized that the sun wasn't shining I lost momentum and opted for a pair of cord shorts instead. I love when the weather is cool enough for layers..and I wore plenty of them today. Have a fab weekend lovelies!!

Hey fab readers we know that it has been a while since an outfit post but so much has been going on in recently that life has been a whirlwind and to top it off I lost my camera charger!! Well no worries the charger has been found and the pictures shall resume my lovelies :-)

With it being such a beautiful day I decided to wear a lightweight sweater/dress to work and paired with a pair of my fave leggings (that literally look great with everything) that I scored from Bloomingdale's at a insanely low price!! I got so many complements on my shoes today that I have had for over a year and never worn...and the best part is that I got them for Charlotte Russe for like $20..I know I know that's the same thing I thought when I saw them!

The Highs and Lows: Miu Miu vs. Forever 21

Fab readers we absolutely love the Miu Miu Forma Cutout Sandals. These sandals are as sexy as they come, featuring a sexy cutout weave that is perfect for day or night. Imagine how cute these shoes would look a pair of ruffled socks (pure perfection!!!) The only thing not sexy about these shoes is the price tag...talk about a reality check at $750.00 these shoes are not for the faint of heart or broke of pocket.

This is the reason we love Forever 21, if you wait long enough they will knock it off for you at a fraction of the fraction of the cost!!! Forever 21 has done an exceptional job of "channeling" the Forma Cutout by introducing the Posh Stiletto heel. The Posh Heel features an all over velvet covering with a mesh cutout style similar to the Forma Cutout. While we admit it's not an exact replica for $20.80 we are not complaining.

Boredom 101

What do you do when you have to be at work at 6:00 am and there is nothing to do?? You give up?!.....when the boss leaves out you take pictures in front of the mirror!!! That's how I spent my morning/afternoon...bored out of my mind (and perfecting my diddy stroll down the hallway).

Sorry for the crappy lighting, I swear I thought it was lighter than this when I took them, however I was rushing (oh well). Nothing fancy here today, except for I wore one of my fave shirts ever!!! I have had it for over three years and has been worn pre, during, and post pregnancy (talk about getting a bang for your buck!!).

Mixing and Matching

          Sometimes you have to shake things up a little bit and do some mixing and matching to make a look work for you. A couple of weeks ago I decided to do just that and contemporize my conservative look by just adding a couple things to spice things up a bit. The ISAAC MIZRAHI for Target dress was purchased on clearance for $12.99. I matched that with some accessories (Micheal Kors watch $495.00, silver and pearl necklace $19.99) and Dolce Vita Jayden peep toe ankle boots $198.00. It's so important for people to mix the high's and the low's. You dont always have to pay top dollar for every outfit you wear but if you take your inexpensive pieces and mix them with some higher quality pieces often times.... It's a MATCH!
