The Highs and The Lows: Fendi Butterfly Platform Pumps vs Boutique 9 Caurah
Fendi Butterfly Platform Pumps-$790
Fab readers it is no secret that we LOVE Fendi shoes, however they dont love us. Fendi pumps are just way to narrow for my feet (and I measure a narrow). When I first spotted the Fendi Butterfly Platform I instantly fell in love with them but them, like the rest, the butterfly platform pumps had my feet SCREAMING after 10 minutes. Not to mention the unsexy price tag of $790 it was pretty easy to leave behind however every now and then I still think of them.
Boutique 9 Caurah Pump-$170
Allow me to introduce you fab readers to my latest obsession the Boutique 9 Caurah Platform Pumps. You can clearly see that these shoes were "inspired" by the Fendi pumps and for only a fraction of the price I think they look quite fab. The main difference between the two shoes are the Caurah Platform does not have the extra platform and it is all suede versus the leather and suede combo on the Fendi. The Caurah Pump is only a fraction price of the Fendi and offers the same look. I'm surely purchasing for only $170!!!

Outfit Post:Furry Feet
Fab readers a few weeks ago we did a feature on the Dolce Vita Tatum boot where we professed our love for the boots. Well, while strolling through Bloomies our shoe girl pulled a pair out from back and it was love at first sight. We HAD to buy them (they were marked down a rediculous amount), so this glum weather we have been having in LA has been a chance for me to where my fave boots. I pulled out my fave thrifted leather jacket and new boots and was ready to enjoy my day, however I must admit these boots are not made for walking (especially in the rain).

Matthew Williamson for Macy's
Fab readers we must have been under a rock not to know that Matthew Williamson was designing a line for Macy's. While we admit we arent the hugest fans of Macy's however our mom is a die hard fan and shopper of Macy's, so imagine our interest when she informed us of the collab. Apparently the collection has been in the works for quite some time and it is scheduled to hit Macy's stores across the country on April 13. The collection is priced between $50-$120 with specialty pieces costing up to $300. The collection focuses on bold fun prints (perfect for spring/summer) in dresses rompers and skirts mostly. The collection seems to be OK, but there are definitely a few pieces that may cause us to stop by our local Macy's. Check out a few of our fave pieces from the collection and check out your local Macy's starting April 13.
Outfit Post: It Could All Be So Simple
Fab readers I have a confession to make..I have never tried to take my own photos before this week. However, with my neighbor/photographer gone a girl has to do what she has to do (if she wants to blog), hence the crappy photos..but no worries a new camera is soon on the way. BTW if you fab people have any suggestions as to what kind of camera I should get leave it in the comments. This outfit is nothing fancy just a pair a cord trousers with a cuff at the bottom from Zara and striped blouse from H&M. I really LOVE this shirt, the sleeves makes everything I pair it with look a little bit more glam.

Outfit Post: Colorblocking
Fab reader sorry for the poor quality photos but I just had to show you my new fave "work" dress. I absolutely adore colorblock dresses!! After three days of living off of homemade chocolate chip walnut cookies and banana nut bread muffins I need anything to divert attention.I picked up this dress at Marshall's for only $10 bucks ( I know that the same face I made) and I must admit it the best $10 I've spent in a LONG time. Enjoy your day oh and btw we are going to try and get back to more outfit post...just been quite uninspired but that's about to change (so I hope).
Stay Fab

The Highs and The Lows: Erdem Margot vs Topshop
Fab readers we absolutely adore thie red lace dress by Erdem Margot. It features one of the hottest trends for spring: lace, and the lace makes it sexy yet the shape is so demure. REALLY is there is anyhing not to love about this dress?!? Well there is one thing...the price is anything but pretty costing $2,615.00 (yep that's the same face we made).
Moments like this make us love Topshop even more than we already do apparently we werent the only ones. Topshop has a red lace 3/4 legnth sleeve dress that puts us in the same mood as the Erdem Margot for only $96 dollars. Granted its not as sexy but we def see the influence. Check it out below
(fyi: we think that the dress would be fab with a pair of leapord heels ;-)

Fab Faceoff: Kim Kardashian vs Mashonda wearing Alexander McQueen
In this edition of fab faceoff we have Kim Kardashian wearing Alaxender McQueen's Long sleeve Samurai dress at a Prince concert a few months back paired with a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes while Mashonda opted for the sleeveless minidress version this past weekend. For this edition we are going to have to go with Kim Kardashian, we are loving the longer hemline and also the longer sleeves, it gives the dress a more chic look. As far as Mashonda we aren't sure if it's the under garments or the way she is standing in the pic but it's not the most flattering option to wear. Let us know who you think rocked this edition of fab faceoff.
