Michelle Obama's Election Style

We all know that what makes a fashion icon an icon, it's the ability to take fashion risks. The ability to take risks and stand by them is what makes a fashion icon, good or bad, deemed a fashion hit or fashion miss you stand by your style. That is what makes Michelle Obama a fashion icon in the making. Last night as Barack Obama was making history as the first African American president-elect, Michelle was making history of her own (in a political setting) wearing a daring, on-trend, red and black ombre Narciso Rodriguez spring 2009 dress. While at first we did not know how we felt about the dress, after looking at several pictures of her in it, we decided that we except the dress (like we have a choice lol). We stand by her decision to wear this dress and help you find your own ombre dress on a Fabulously Chic and Cheap budget. Check out a few of our favorites.
